EISI Selects Q9 To Host New ASP Version of Naviplan Financial Planning Software
Toronto, ON - February 4, 2005 - Q9 Networks Inc. (TSX:Q), a leading provider of outsourced Internet infrastructure and related managed services, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a multi-year contract by Winnipeg-based Emerging Information Systems Inc. (EISI) to support Naviplan Central, a new Application Service Provider (ASP) version of its leading financial planning software, NaviPlan Enterprise Solution.
NaviPlan Central is being hosted in a high security Q9 data centre. Under the terms of the contract with EISI, Q9 is providing a comprehensive suite of managed services, including: servers, firewalls, Internet bandwidth and backup and restore services that will ensure maximum security, reliability and availability for NaviPlan Central customers.
Launched on January 26, 2005, Naviplan Central includes financial planning software, a centralized database, and business tools, such as workflow controls and management reports, to effectively manage compliance issues. It is targeted at small and mid-sized financial planning firms as a low-maintenance and cost-effective alternative to developing an in-house technology infrastructure.
